What we collect
- What you give us. If you submit a form on this site, such as a deal-alert signup, a brand inquiry or a contact message, we collect what you enter, for example your email address, name, brand details and message. For a deal-alert signup we also record the page you signed up from and, if you asked for alerts about one brand or product, which one. We keep your email choices: how often you want alerts, which products and brands you follow, and whether you paused or unsubscribed.
- What is collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address and browser details. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It sets cookies and records the pages you view, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Email activity. Our emails record whether they are opened and clicked. We use this to stop sending to people who don't read them.
How we use it
To send you the deal alerts you ask for, to reply to your inquiries, and to run and improve the site. When you sign up for deal alerts, your address is added to our email list and we send you a welcome email. We do not sell your personal information.
Who else handles it
- Service providers. Our hosting provider, Google, HighLevel Inc. (which stores form submissions and sends our emails), and Cloudflare, Inc. (which checks that a form is sent by a person, using information about your browser and connection) handle information on our behalf. GitHub, Inc. runs the job that prepares our sale alerts.
- Affiliate links. When you click a link to a brand, the affiliate network and the brand receive information about your visit and may set their own cookies. They handle it under their own policies.
Cookies
We and the services above use cookies. You can block or delete them in your browser settings.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and every sale alert has a link to manage your emails. There you can choose how often you get alerts, stop alerts for a product or brand, pause them, or unsubscribe from everything. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to hello@cannaworldmarket.com.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
